Spirituality for Real Life
Sundays at 11:15 and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Do you want to pray, but aren't sure how? Do you believe that God is present in all things, but sometimes struggle to figure out how? Have you aspired to deepening your spiritual life, but often find you're just too busy?

Using the wisdom of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, we are looking at ways that we can deepen our spiritual life, even in the midst of hectic schedules. We'll use The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything: A Spirituality for Real Life by Fr. James Martin, S.J., as our guide. It's a very accessible text, and easy to read. Discussions are in two groups - on Sundays after Church, and on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm. Choose the time that works best for you on a given week. Books are available in the parish office, or online at Amazon.com.

If you know you'll be attending, please email Fr. David dsibley@christchurchmanhasset.org that he can be sure to have enough books on hand.

Proverbs 9:9

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Christ Church Future Workshops
Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.

Our strategic discernment process is continuing, after two successful gatherings. As we seek to craft a future for Christ Church centered in spiritual growth, we'll engage in our next workshop with the results of the congregation-wide Spiritual Life Inventory. Our last workshop is Saturday, May 13, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Parish House. Breakfast snacks, coffee, and lunch will be provided. Even if you missed our first workshops, please make plans to attend the next one if you'd like to be part of this work.

Breakfast snacks, coffee, and lunch will be provided. You're invited, and we need your help! If you feel called to helping us plan our future together, please RSVP to the Parish Office at admin@christchurchmanhasset.org, or call 516-627-2184.
