Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Proverbs 9:9

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Book Club
Thursday, October 25, 7:00 p.m.

We are starting a book club at Christ Church. We hope you are as excited as we are to get started! Our first book is At Home in Mitford, by Jan Karon. It is a light, fun read about a small town with a bachelor "Episcopal" Rector, a mystifying jewel theft, and a secret that's sixty years old. Let's just say, the Rector gets more than he bargained for...

The book is easy to find online or at any book store. So let's start reading!

We will meet to chat about the book over dinner (recipes from the book!) in the Parish House.

A sign-up sheet is located in the back of the church. Many of the recipes are available on-line. Any questions, please reach out to Penny Tadler at We hope you can join us!
