Parish Picnic
June 11 after the 10 a.m. service

Please join us for our annual Parish Picnic. We'll dine al fresco (weather permitting) with CRC on June 11 right after our church service. Make sure you don't miss it - Lots of fun, lots of good food and a great get-together! The churches will supply drinks and heroes or sandwiches. We need volunteers to bring side dishes, desserts and to help set up and clean up. If you have not already signed up, you can contact the Parish Office at or 627-2184. Please join us for a wonderful lunch.

Even if you attend the 8 a.m. service, please join Fr. David, your fellow parishioners and friends at the Parish Picnic for lunch.

International Children's Day
Sunday, June 11, 10 a.m.

Please join us for the end of the Sunday School year and the presentation of the high school graduate gifts, followed by the Parish Picnic.

What to Expect on Sundays

Our Sunday School classes for children in Kindergarten through middle school are offered from September to June at 9:30 a.m. in the newly renovated Christ Church Parish House. Our children join the children of CRC for a Bible-focused program that highlights stories, arts, crafts and group discussion. At approximately 10:30 a.m., the children join their families in church for the end of the service. For more information, please contact Heather Bennett at

The Bagels and Bible class for the 7th, 8th and 9th grade students explore what we know and what we don't know about the Bible through group discussion and creative activities. Learn about this and all the programs for Youth on the Youth Page.

We know what a great responsibility it is to care for and teach your children, so we want to do everything possible to ensure their well-being when they are with us. Our teachers have completed Safeguarding God's Children training to provide the safest environment for learning, playing and growing. In addition, all families must complete our Sunday School Application Form and provide contact, allergy, and other needed information.

On the fourth Sunday of each month, children join the congregation for a special Family Service. Kids can participate by serving as torch bearers or acolytes, or reading the scripture. The Chapel Choir sings a special anthem. The children stay for the full service and receive the Eucharist with their families.

All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the prosperity of your children.   Isaiah 54:13

Infant and Toddler-Nursery Care

All children, newborn through age 4, are welcome in the newly renovated and fully-operating nursery at Community Reformed Church, open every Sunday, September to June, from 9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. There, they will be greeted by our teacher, Lydia Jeong, who works with parents to ensure that their children feel welcomed and comfortable in our space. All toddlers and young children are offered a creative and engaging Bible lesson that helps them play, imagine and explore God's love in all of creation!
