We are blessed to have partnered with the Community Reformed Church and the Congregational Church, to create a Children and Youth Ministry that includes joint Sunday School, a Youth Program (grades 9-12), church-wide events and service opportunities so that our children can connect with other Christian children to learn and grow together.

Summer Mission Trip
July 15 - 20, 2018
Houston, Texas

Next summer's youth service trip will be to Houston, TX! In partnership with the Congregational Church of Manhasset, from July 15th - 20th, 2018, we will be working with "Reach Beyond Mission", a youth service organization based in Texas. While in Houston, the group will partner with the UCC (United Church of Christ) relief arm to help aid in relief work from Hurricane Harvey.

Our high school aged students (9th - 12th grades) will work directly with relief efforts, rebuilding homes, community clean up tasks, etc. Our middle school students (grades 6 - 8) will serve with agencies helping those who have become homeless due to the hurricane.

We are in the process of planning an exceptional week of service and learning for our students.

There are 35 slots available for this trip. To reserve a spot for your youth, please send a nonrefundable deposit of $200 to "The Congregational Church". Please put the name of your student in the memo section of the check. Send the deposit to "The Congregational Church" 1845 Northern Blvd, Manhasset. ATTN: REV. LORI BURGESS. Also, please send an email to Lori Burgess at, so she can begin an official sign up list.

Final details of the trip are in process, including flights, deposit dates and the total cost. It is likely that this trip will be around $1000 per student due to location.

We look forward to forming a team of students for this meaningful experience.
