Father Stephen Tamke, a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary ('17), came to us in July of 2020 following three years as the Curate at St. John's of Lattingtown Episcopal Church in Locust Valley. Prior, he served as Deacon and Seminarian at The Falls Church Episcopal in Falls Church, VA, just outside DC, during his time at seminary.

Father Stephen was born and raised in the Diocese of Long Island in Garden City, a parishioner of the Cathedral of the Incarnation where he was a member of the Cathedral Choir for many years. It was during his time singing in the Cathedral Choir that he began discerning his call to ordained ministry. While at VTS he served as the Music Teaching Assistant with the Seminary's Professor of Church Music & Director of Chapel Music.
